NVK Group took part in IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 at ExCeL London, bringing together the global attractions, leisure and entertainment industry for one of its most important international events.
This year’s Expo became the largest European edition in IAAPA history, welcoming more than 16,500 industry professionals, over 870 exhibitors and representatives from 118 countries.
For NVK, the event was an opportunity to explore the technologies, ideas and experiences shaping the next generation of entertainment destinations — from immersive attractions and water-based experiences to new approaches in guest interaction, storytelling and destination design.
A particular focus was placed on the rapidly evolving field of underwater entertainment.
During the Expo, the NVK team explored solutions presented by Sub Sea Systems, a California-based company specialising in immersive underwater attractions. Its portfolio includes SeaTREK helmet diving experiences, the Aquaticar underwater ride and the Bubble Pulse Gun interactive underwater gaming system.
These technologies demonstrate how entertainment can move beyond traditional attractions and become a fully immersive physical experience — combining engineering, storytelling, interaction and environment.
